This year, the construction of four daycare centers will be completed, with a capacity to receive 252 children, in a global investment of more than three million euros.
The daycare centers were designed to ensure accessibility and use conditions for the largest possible number of people, in an autonomous, comfortable and safe way.
They are built in a modular system, associated with the creation of an overall image, and rationalization of costs, with “high energy efficiency“, and are “in a very advanced state“, said today the Mayor of Lisbon, Fernando Medina, during a visit to works in progress.
In total, the four daycare centers built by the municipality – two in Beato, one in Parque das Nações and another in São Domingos de Benfica – will have the capacity to receive 252 children, and represent a global investment of 3,094,746.73 €.
