Epopculture takes a Cosplay exhibition to Braga

From the 2nd to the 31st of May, a Cosplay Exhibition, created in partnership with EPOPCULTURE, will be present at Mesa na Praça, the food hall of the Mercado Municipal de Braga (1st floor).

The focus will be on original creations of characters from the universe of Pop Culture and admission is free.

In addition to being an artist in the interpretation of a certain character, cosplay is an art in the creation and dedication of costumes and props. From the most varied universes of Pop Culture, this exhibition brings to the public authentic creations by Portuguese cosplayers who give themselves body and soul to this art.

To celebrate Portuguese artists in the Cosplay area, Mesa na Praça, in partnership with EPOPCULTURE, the brand that owns EPOPCULTURE News, EPOPCULTURE Store, and Comic Con Portugal, carry out this exhibition throughout the month of May.

Five cosplay costumes will be on display: Gwenom, Symbiote, and Ghost Rider from the Marvel Universe, Glinda from the Musical Wicked, and Elina from the Barbie Fairytopia Stories. These Cosplays are the work of four artists, including Inês Silva, who showed the first creation to the public at the first Comic Con Portugal in 2014 and has already represented Portugal in international cosplay competitions in Paris, Holland, and Lisbon.
