Kata women’s team wins bronze in European championship
The Portuguese Mariana Belo, Ana Cruz and Patrícia Esparteiro won, this Sunday, the bronze medal in the competition for kata teams in the European karate, in Porec, Croatia.
In the bronze award match, the Portuguese won the representation of Turkey, with 25.08 points, against 23.86.
Portugal had already won two more medals in these Europeans, both in parakarate, by João Azevedo (silver in K22) and António Pereira (bronze in K23), two athletes with intellectual disabilities.
