Estoril anticipates the World Endurance Championship for July 17

The 12 o’clock stage of Estoril at the World Championship for motorcycling was brought forward to July 17, in exchange for the Suzuka race in Japan, the International Motorcycle Federation (FIM) said today.

This change happens due to the health protocol in force with the covid-19 pandemic and in view of the restrictions on entry into Japan, which would bring additional difficulties for the teams and pilots.

The World Cup calendar comprises five races: the 24 hours of Le Mans (17 and 18 April), the 8 hours of Oschersleben, Germany (23 May), the 12 hours of Estoril (17 July), the 24 hours Bol d’Or, in France (18th and 19th of September) and the eight hours of Suzuka (7th of November).
