With a double New Year’s Eve program, Casino Estoril bets on ABBA Gold and Fernando Pereira to celebrate the arrival of the New Year. The ABBA Gold tribute band will be the protagonist in the Black and Silver Salon, while Fernando Pereira’s “One Man Show, the Man of a Thousand Voices” is the main attraction in Lounge D. The festive New Year’s atmosphere continues. , until dawn, in the two spaces of Casino Estoril.
Black and Silver Salon – ABBA Gold
With a revivalist character, ABBA Gold celebrate the New Year at the Black and Silver Salon. The concert will be starring one of the best known and best tribute bands to the famous ABBA.
ABBA Gold is a British music group that for over 20 years has performed the great classics of the Swedish band that was a worldwide reference. ABBA Gold is enthusiastically greeted wherever they go, forming a giant wave that sends the public back to the past.
As in the ABBA era, the halls fill up and the atmosphere experienced during the shows goes hot when the ABBA Gold interpret themes such as “Mamma Mia“, “Chiquitita”, “Waterloo“, “Fernando” or “Voulez-vous“.
Everything was conceived to the smallest detail, but what will surely delight the viewers will be to relive live all the classics that marked the panorama of international music. It will be an unforgettable and unforgettable night for any ABBA fan and anyone who wants to get to know the iconic Swedish band better.
The musical animation begins, at 9:30 pm, with the performances of the bands State of Mind and Quinteto Bohemian. With a versatile record, the Feist Company starred, still in 2019, a show full of animation. This is a special performance that culminates precisely with the celebration of midnight. Already in 2020, the Feist Company presents amazing musical moments. After the ABBA Gold concert, it will be the turn of State of Mind and Bohemian Quintet to return to the stage to prolong the early morning entertainment.

The program starts at 8:30 pm with the Welcome Drink, followed by 9 pm at the Black and Silver Room Dinner. At midnight, the arrival of 2020 will be celebrated with champagne and “Happy New Year”. For two hours, supper will be served and, at four in the morning, it will be the turn of the traditional São Silvestre Cake accompanied by hot chocolate.
The recommended costume for tonight is the tuxedo. The price is 350 € per person.

State of mind
With musical direction by João Serra Fernandes, this 80’s tribute band includes in its repertoire classic icons of the international music scene such as Tina Turner, Joan Jett, Madonna, Michael Jackson or Bee Gees. State of Minds come in either acoustic or electric form, always ensuring contagious energy.
Bohemian Quintet
Appreciated for its very dynamic performances in an environment of complicity, the Bohemian Quintet is distinguished live by the innovative musical arrangements favouring the creativity, ingenuity and personality of the formation. The band recreates numerous hits from the following artists: The Beatles, Elvis Presley, Elton John, Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Madonna, Queen, Tina Turner, ABBA, Lady Gaga, Maroon 5 or Bruno Mars. Vocalist Vanessa Ferreira shares the stage with João Loureiro on guitar, Nuno Correia on bass, Nuno Oliveira on drums and Luis Fernandes on keyboards.
Lounge D – Fernando Pereira
In the middle of New Year’s Eve, Casino Estoril invites its visitors to celebrate the arrival of 2020, with a special show by Fernando Pereira. With a genuine festive atmosphere, “One Man Show, the Man of a Thousand Voices” celebrates the arrival of the New Year, recreating great hits from the Portuguese and foreign music scene.
Fernando Pereira promises to get everyone singing and dancing to Eurythmics, Depeche Mode, Kool & The Gang, Blondie, REM, Bon Jovi, David Bowie, passing by Amy Winehouse, Imagine Dragons, Bruno Mars, Ed Sheeran, Camila Cabello and António Variações, GNR, Sea Heroes or Radio Macau, with current sounds, original musical arrangements and a breakneck pace from beginning to end.
Accompanied by a great DJ and a group of four fantastic ballerinas, the famous artist and lord of the voices deliver a crazy and very entertaining night at this New Year’s Eve 2020, where the main motto is revival and the best music of the 70’s, 80’s and 80’s. 90
The musical animation will also be provided by the band State of Mind. Admission is free. But for those who wish, too, there is the alternative of dinner concert upon reservation.
