Estoril Sol welcomed the Chinese New Year with two festive events that fulfilled some ancient traditions, namely, the “Incense Ceremony”, the “Piglet Ritual” and the “Lion Dance”.
With a majestic serpent prominently displayed next to the rotating door at the main entrance, Casino Estoril maintains appropriate decorations to mark the celebration of the Lunar New Year. An emblematic peach tree (symbol of longevity and prosperity) with real dimensions, several illuminated lanterns and numerous Chinese ornaments are also highlighted in the large hall, extending to the other spaces of Casino Estoril, until February 27th.
Casino Lisboa
In turn, Casino Lisboa inaugurated, on January 27, an imposing installation commemorating the Chinese New Year, ruled by the snake. The installation is distinguished, from the outset, by a serpent that leaves no one indifferent, a sumptuous Chinese portico and a peach tree with real dimensions. There are several points of interest, surrounded by a suitable environment with around 80 illuminated lanterns and numerous Chinese ornaments distributed throughout the Art Gallery. Also not to be missed until February 27th.
