Joris Delacroix debuts in Portugal, in DJ Set format

Joris Delacroix’s sound was, from the outset, defined in the unique soundscape of his debut album Room With View EM 2011.
Since then he has become a regular presence in some of the most renowned clubs and festivals such as the Peacock Society, Rex Club and the Paleo Festival. Several international tours followed, the release of the second album released by Universal, Night Visions (2018) and the release of several EPs. With these works, she gained recognition and definitively consolidated her place at the top of the French melodic techno scene, alongside artists such as Worakls, NTO and Joachim Pastor.
Inspired by names such as Daft Punk, Paul Kalkbrenner, Stefan Bodzin, Claude VonStroke, Stuart Price, David August, Maceo Plex, Rone, and Rodriguez Jr, to name a few, it is fair to say that Joris Delacroix has already managed to cement his stamp and identity, collecting, to date, more than 75 million reproductions on streaming platforms.
In the DJ Set he prepared for his debut in Portugal, the producer and DJ will not fail to revisit the tracks that have marked his musical journey, but will also show, first-hand, the most recent “Turpentine”, “Fall In” (with collaboration from Silly Boy Blue) or “Do it Again” (with Malou). It will be a true journey through vast soundscapes as Delacroix surrounds the track with bass lines and resounding synthesizers, balanced by melodic notes that vibrate and contrast with the surrounding, warm and rich electronics, enhancing his rhythmic patterns.
On the track, Delacroix will receive testimony from Rogue Fire, responsible for tonight’s “Opening” in Lisbon. An experienced producer and DJ, his style incorporates deep, melodic and powerful music. Rogue Fire creates emotional hybrid sets with a strong saxophone presence and, after a highly notable debut EP (Discovery, 2022), followed by “Getaway” in 2023, anticipates the release of new tracks in 2024 with a perfect mix between melodies and catchy rhythms. He has already been present at the renowned Burning Man and shared stages with prominent artists in Europe, the USA, South Africa and Australia.
The night closes with Luna Semara, DJ/producer, recording artist and A&R who, in her music, channels a deep love for synthesis. The communion of rhythm and dance is a powerful current common to all of his tracks that unfold in a slow and deliberate construction.
