GEMINI is a conceptual work that delves into human duality — light and shadow, reason and emotion, body and spirit — reflecting the essence of the sign that gives it its name. Inspired by the artist’s strong connection to spirituality, the EP was born from a process of introspection and growth developed between March 2024 and September 2025.
With a purposefully eclectic sound that spans pop, electronic, alternative R&B, and rock, GEMINI presents five tracks that reflect the contrasts and contradictions of the artist, each exposing a layer of his emotional, intellectual, and artistic complexity.
“HUMANO” opens the EP with an electronic ballad about vulnerability and the weight of the modern world; “ÚLTIMO BEIJO” (Last Kiss), written with Alex D’Alva Teixeira, offers a sweet and nostalgic farewell; “SÓBRIO” (Sober), the lead single, marks a turning point of clarity and emotional maturity; “PAUSA (no coração)” (Pause (in the Heart)) delves into introspection and self-love; and “MÁQUINA” (Machine) closes the project in a raw and visceral way, exploring the body, desire, and identity.
Produced by the artist along with Alexandre D’Carvalho and Miguel Ferrador (DØR), the project is a portrait of a phase of transformation, authenticity, and self-exploration, consolidating EVAN as one of the most promising voices in new Portuguese pop.
BIOGRAPHY
EVAN is a Portuguese artist, singer, songwriter, and composer. Born in Benavente, he began in the arts early on and studied jazz at the Hot Clube de Portugal. In 2022, he debuted his solo career with the singles “Sem Ti” (Without You) and “Liberta-me” (Free Me). “NÁUFRAGO” was the lead single from his debut EP, “LIMERÊNCIA”, released in November 2023 by Farol Música. The song “Sem Você” was part of the soundtrack of the telenovela “Queridos Papás” (TVI).
