“SÓBRIO” is the long-awaited lead single from singer and songwriter EVAN’s second project.
It is released today, May 9th, 2025, distributed by Move Music, and is available on all digital streaming platforms.
With influences from bands such as Ornatos Violeta and Amor Electro, the single brings a powerful and raw sound, mixing elements of rock and electronic in a tense and emotionally charged atmosphere.
The song is a farewell cry, saying goodbye to the fantasies, illusions and co-dependent relationships that led EVAN to an altered state of consciousness, explored in his previous EP, LIMERÊNCIA.
“SÓBRIO“, the reflection of a journey of healing and confrontation of deep and complex feelings, was written, composed and co-produced by EVAN alongside Alexandre D’Carvalho, who was also in charge of mixing and mastering the song.
BIOGRAPHY
EVAN is a 26-year-old Portuguese singer, songwriter, and author. Born in Benavente, he began his career in the arts at an early age and studied jazz at the Hot Clube de Portugal. In 2022, he debuted as a solo artist with the singles “Sem Ti” and “Liberta-me”, followed by “Sem Saber” and “NÁUFRAGO” – a single from his debut EP, “LIMERÊNCIA”, released in November 2023 by Farol Música. The song “Sem Você” was part of the soundtrack of the soap opera “Queridos Papás” (TVI). In May 2025, he released “SÓBRIO”, the first preview of his next project.
