Exhibition with 91 works pays tribute to Portuguese women
Under the title ‘A Tribute To Women. Artists in The São Roque Collection’, the exhibition aims to be a tribute to the Portuguese woman-artist.
[dropcap]T[/dropcap]he selection of works includes artists such as Josefa d’Óbidos and young contemporary creators, including names like Aurelia de Sousa, Graça Morais, Ana Vidigal, Bela Silva, Ana Jotta, Menez, Ana Vidigal, Maria Keil, among others.
The exhibition is scheduled to open between 4pm and 9pm on Thursday.
Founded 30 years ago, São Roque Antiguidades e Galeria de Arte specialized not only in Portuguese art and Portuguese-Afro-Oriental fusion art from the 16th to the 18th centuries, but also in modern and contemporary Portuguese painting.
He has a regular presence at annual specialty contests, such as the Lisbon Art and Antiques Fair – Cordoaria Nacional, in Lisbon, or La Biennale des Antiquaires, at the Grand Palais, in Paris.
