[dropcap]W[/dropcap]ith the motto ‘See to choose’, this show features activities in the areas of science, engineering and technology, thus providing an opportunity to help choose the area of further study for secondary school students. The Expo FCT program, organized in collaboration with the Departments, Research Units, Students and Centers Association, Library and FabLab of the New School of Science and Technology | FCT NOVA, has more than 70 activities, including quizzes, workshops, and experiences that, in a playful-scientific way, allow participants to feel what it is like to be an engineer and scientist, and what it is like to study in college.

Due to the contingencies imposed by the Covid-19 pandemic, the activities will be carried out in an online format, but with all the dynamism and playfulness that has always marked this event, which has been going on for fifteen years, and which in 2019 counted on the participation of about 6,000 students on the college campus.

Students can visit virtually our spaces and our laboratories, listen to the testimonies of students from different areas, carry out the experiments we propose and answer the quizzes associated with them. Increasingly, scientific knowledge is decisive for decision making. A training at NOVA School of Science & Technology | FCT NOVA in the area of science and engineering is a complete, scientifically strong training and guarantee of 100% employability’, explains Fátima Rodrigues, deputy director for the Dissemination of Science and Technology.
