Art Space 2 of the Casino Estoril Art Gallery

In order to respond to the expressive interest shown by visitors to Casino Estoril, the exhibition “Disfiguration of Utopia” by D.Anghel will be on view, this Tuesday, 24th of May, in the Art Space 2 of the Art Gallery. The entrance is free.

It is recalled that this original solo exhibition of paintings by Daniela Anghel was featured, from April 23rd until yesterday, May 23rd, at the Art Gallery, having registered a high turnout of the public. The exhibition can therefore continue to be visited, but this time at Espaço de Arte 2, until 30 June.

D.Anghel’s painting stands out for the monumentality of the works and for an extremely rigorous technique. In her paintings, subject to a formal and temporal fold, classical compositions of Western painting undergo various processes of transmutation and updating.
