Exhibition “Gaiolas com Arte” at the Estremoz Tourist Office

On August 7, 2021, at 11:00 am, the Estremoz Tourism Office will stage the inauguration of the exhibition “Gaiolas com Arte“, by the artisan João Banha.

João Banha has been passionate about handicraft since he was a child and began, in 1993, to build traditional wooden cages and bird nests, which represent typical Alentejo houses, keeping the colors of the Alentejo.

The materials used in his pieces are wood, from used pallets, which he reuses, transforming them into real works of art, which he usually exhibits at craft fairs, especially at FIAPE.

“Gaiolas com Arte” can be visited until September 5, 2021.
