X Biennial Exhibition of Small Format Painting
From July 3rd to August 1st, the Arts and Crafts Factory (FAVO), in Alhos Vedros, will receive the exhibition of works in competition at the X Small Format Painting Biennial – Joaquim Afonso Madeira Award, open to the public on Friday. Friday and Saturday from 17:00h to 19:30h and from 21:00h to 23:00h, and Sunday from 17:00h to 19:30h.
On the opening day, July 3, at 5 pm, the winners of this edition, which had 363 entries, will be announced.
This initiative, organized by the Municipality of Moita, the Parish Council of Alhos Vedros and CACAV – Alhos Vedros Cultural Animation Circle, intends to be an incentive to artistic creation, in the field of painting, through support to artists, in the enhancement of their work and its meeting with the community.
The Joaquim Afonso Madeira Prize is awarded by the Municipality of Moita and has a value of 1000 euros. The Revelation Prize, worth 350 euros, is awarded by the Parish Council of Alhos Vedros.
