Musicbox Lisboa is celebrating its 17th anniversary and Expresso Transatlântico were the first to sing “Congratulations”.
Always much loved by the public, Expresso Transatlântico once again won over everyone who went to Musibox with their “riffs”, with emphasis on their latest work Ressaca Bailada and were received by a full house of fans and friends, connoisseurs of their music, attentive to every detail.
This was a full year for Gaspar Varela, Sebastião Varela and Rafael Matos, with almost thirty shows in Portugal and beyond, they went to the festivals MUMI (Galicia, Spain), Colors Of Ostrava (Czech Republic), FMM Sines, Paredes de Coura, Islamic Festival and Festa do Avante.
In September they released Ressaca Bailada, the band’s first album, which won over critics and fans and filled theatres wherever they went. In January they will visit the Netherlands, at the Eurosonic Noorderslag festival and are already confirmed at Primavera Sound, in Porto in 2024.
But Musicbox’s anniversary isn’t over yet, there’s a lot more to see.
See here the possible photos of the Expresso Transatlântico concert at Musibox, as the lighting conditions are always very difficult in this room.
