In the 6th Edition of the PLAY-Prémios da Música Portuguesa, Expresso Transatlântico are nominated in the categories of “New Artist” and “Best Music Video”, with the theme “Ressaca Bailada”, whose video is directed by Sebastião Varela.
Last year, the trio released their debut full-length Ressaca Bailada, which was included in several of the “Best Albums of the Year” lists for the national press.
In 2024, the band took the stage at the EUROSONIC Noorderslag festival, now preparing to represent Portugal at the Buenos Aires Book Fair, Argentina, in May. For the summer, the Bons Sons and Primavera Sound festivals have already been confirmed, with more shows to be announced soon.
The PLAY-Prémios da Música Portuguesa ceremony takes place on May 16th at the Coliseu dos Recreios, in Lisbon, with live broadcast on RTP1 and Antena1.
