Aware of the challenges that the COVID-19 pandemic brought to the country and to the lives of the Portuguese and the redoubled efforts that private institutions of social solidarity have made to support families in this new context, MSD Portugal decided to extend the application deadline to the 8th edition of the Maria José Nogueira Pinto Prize.
All people, individual or collective, who want to see their work recognized in the scope of social responsibility in Portugal, can apply, until the 15th of July, through the official website of the prize.
With the objective of recognizing innovative social projects and helping institutions to continue their work with communities, the Maria José Nogueira Pinto Prize annually awards the monetary value of € 10,000 to the big winner and awards a prize of 1,000 € to each honorable mention.
The Award Jury is chaired by Dr. Maria de Belém Roseira and consists of six other elements of recognized merit, suitability and reputation: Eng. Anacoreta Correia, Dr. Clara Carneiro, Dr. Isabel Saraiva, Monsignor Vítor Feytor Pinto , Prof. Dr. Jaime Nogueira Pinto and Dr. Pedro Marques, representing MSD Portugal.
