Hiring is aimed at strengthening the digital transformation segment.
EY Portugal will hire 300 young people next year, from economics, management, science, technology, engineering and mathematics, according to a statement. The measure serves to strengthen the digital transformation segment.
“The technological revolution we are experiencing presupposes the existence of multidisciplinary teams and this is why we are intensifying the recruitment of ‘new graduates’ with diverse technical and scientific backgrounds,” says Margarida Dias, director of the EY Portugal.
Last year, 27% of the young people hired by the company are STEM, that is, they belong to the areas of Engineering, Mathematics, Science or Information Technology, “a percentage that has been increasing in recent years,” says the company.
The recruitment process has already begun and, with these vacancies, EY will exceed 1,000 hires of university students in the last four years.
