With musical production by Aldina Duarte, “Fado sem Fim” is a record that brings together the voices of José Geadas, Tânia Oleiro, Soraia Cardoso, Sara Paixão and Francisco Salvação Barreto.
Edited by the Fado Museum, this work results from a series of recitals that in 2023, Aldina Duarte prepared with each of the fadistas.
«It is not known when or where he was born. It is not known who heard him for the first time in the breath of the wind, in the rocking of the sea, in the silence of the rivers, in the moonlight nights, in the calm of the stars, in the strength of the storms, in the braveness of the days, in the brightness of the hope that is hovering in longing, in all the dreams of the world, all the pains and joys, in life as it is. He became a person in music and poetry, sounds and resonates in the voice of those who sing and listen. It is the father and mother of the mysteries of the soul, heart and body. No one can even define it, it happens, it is called Fado, fado without end.»
