FC Porto beats Santa Clara (2-1)

FC Porto had to suffer to win, by 2-1, Santa Clara, for the 25th round of the League, in a game marked by two penalties, one for each side, originating the first two goals.

At 49′, Sérgio Oliveira punished Marco’s lack of Taremi and put the dragons in front, but the advantage was short-lived. At 56 minutes, Carlos Jr. reestablished the tie after a lack of Diogo Leite over Lincoln in the area. Until the end, the dragons had dominance and opportunities but it was only at 90+5′ that Toni Martínez, after crossing Tecatito Corona, headed and gave the three points to the dragons.

With this victory, FC Porto now has 57 points, behind Sporting (64) and ahead of Benfica (51) and SC Braga (50) approaching second place. Santa Clara is 7th and has 32 points.
