FC Porto beats Farense (1-0)

FC Porto won in the visit to Farense (1-0), in a game of the 14th round of the League. It was the return of the dragons to their triumphs, after the tie with Benfica (1-1) in the last round.

The match was decided in the first half. Mehdi Taremi (15 ’) scored the winning goal after a run from Manafá on the right.

With this result, FC Porto isolated itself in second place with 35 points, one from the leader Sporting (less one game) and two more than Benfica. Farense occupies the penultimate place with 12 points, two from Famalicão, the first team above the relegation zone.
