FC Porto won the qualification for the handball Super Cup final by defeating Benfica, at the Nazaré Municipal Pavilion, by 29-24.
The reds were winning at half-time by 12-10, but in the second half, Porto managed to turn around, largely due to a particularly ‘brilliant’ display by Fábio Magalhães.
Porto is now playing Sporting, who beat Águas Santas, by 35-30. The Portuguese Handball Classic will be at 17:00 on Sunday.
