André Horta opened the scoring with an own goal in the 53rd minute, the second was scored by Otávio, in the 82nd minute, which thus confirmed the revalidation of the trophy for the blue and whites. Wendell was sent off at 62′ and Niakité at 79′, both sent off with straight reds.
FC Porto joins the Portuguese Cup to the League Cup and the Super Cup in the 2022/23 season, only the championship was missing, which was handed over to SL Benfica.
