FC Porto wins in Berna and is in the second place of the group

Dragons were losing until the 76th minute, but two goals from Aboubakar consummated the Porto twist in Bern. Sérgio Conceição’s team had a foot outside the Europa League, eventually won and left everything open in Group G.

It was imperative to win and that is what FC Porto did this Thursday in Switzerland against Young Boys. After a startle, the dragons were slow to react, but were eventually saved by a man whom many did not guess at the outset would be an option: Vincent Aboubakar.

The dragons did not lower their arms and became a disadvantage that had been consummated since the 6th minute of the match. Only 70 minutes later, the Cameroon striker managed to reach the equalizer. The encore came shortly afterward – three minutes later to be strict – and the FC Porto team exploded with joy. He had almost one foot out of Europe but recovered and brought to Portugal three important points in the fight for the UEFA Europa League round of 32.

A game that saw a fierce, combative FC Porto, just like the image of what has been FC Porto de Sérgio Conceição. And a game where Aboubakar was also seen returning to the goals more than a year later – the Cameroonian last goal was scored on 22 September 2018.
