The Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon (FDUL) and the ISEG Lisbon School of Economics and Management created the new Master in Law & Management program, which responds to market demand for professionals with the ability to address problems from an interdisciplinary perspective, combining the Law and Management.
This program provides law graduates with excellent scientific training and the necessary tools to understand their clients’ needs, risks, and challenges, from both a law and management perspective. Students will thus have a holistic and client-centered approach, as clients of law firms, companies, and other institutions demand. The master’s degree also gives graduates in Management, Economics, and Finance the ability to understand and deal with the risks and legal challenges associated with their professional and business projects.
“The Master in Law & Management is an interdisciplinary training aimed at understanding and deepening the related areas of Law and Management, enabling both lawyers and managers to acquire competencies for the exercise of high-level functions in the business world, in public entities or international bodies. This is a training offer project capable of providing a differentiated qualification level, which can only be obtained through the synergy between two reference schools at the University of Lisbon: FDUL and ISEG,” explains Paula Vaz Freire, Director of FDUL.
Clara Raposo, President of ISEG, says “The new Master in Law & Management materializes the potential for creating value at the intersection at the University of Lisbon: Law and Management. It is with great expectation and commitment that ISEG joins the Faculty of Law in order, in this way, to generate new profiles of professionals more apt for a future of great demand. We wait for you, at the emblematic FDUL in Cidade Universitária and on the beautiful ISEG campus, between Parliament and the Tagus River, for a unique training experience as professionals and as citizens of the future.”
