Employability and entrepreneurship fair at NOVA FCT brings together the academic community with the business world


The 24th edition of the university employment and entrepreneurship fair this year brings together more than 70 companies at NOVA FCT, between the 18th and 20th of October.

The Faculty of Science and Technology of the NOVA University of Lisbon | NOVA FCT announces the 2023 edition of the employability and entrepreneurship fair – JOBFEST 2023, which will take place on the 18th, 19th and 20th of October, whose main objective is to create a space for interaction between the academic community and representatives of national companies and international.

Organized by the NOVA FCT Student Association (AEFCT), this year’s edition, in a face-to-face format, has already confirmed the participation of 70 renowned companies, including BNP Paribas, Casais, Cisco and Deloitte. For many students, this is their first contact with the business world, where they will be able to speak with professionals in the areas of science and technology about the challenges and opportunities they will encounter when they complete their bachelor’s and/or master’s courses.

Over the three days of JOBFEST, more than 100 job interviews, 3 lectures (JobTalks) and 5 workshops organized by participating companies are planned to be held with varied themes ranging from presentation skills to innovation and technology in retail.

The meeting point for more than 8,500 NOVA FCT students is the atrium of Building VII on the Caparica campus. “JOBFEST is an extremely important initiative for our students, providing them with the opportunity to establish direct contact with companies that could soon be their future employers”, explains José Paulo Santos, deputy director responsible for Communication at NEW FCT. “In this 24th edition, the event organizers are committed to bringing new companies and new formats of interaction with students.”
