Feira de Sant’Iago is back

Feira de Sant’Iago returns to Setúbal, with entertainment for everyone, handicrafts, food, and drinks and of course, culture, don’t miss it, there is something for everyone, big and small.

Feira de Sant’Iago, organized by the Municipality of Setúbal and held annually in Parque Sant’Iago between July 29 and August 7, is one of the largest and most important popular festivals in the south of the country, as an expressive center offer of culture and leisure.

Despite being held for more than four centuries, it has already had several locations, Parque do Bonfim, Largo de Jesus, Beira-Mar, Avenida Luísa Todi, and currently takes place in Manteigadas.

Feira de Sant’Iago includes musical shows with international, national, and local artists, street entertainment for all audiences, craft stands, gastronomic taverns, and various entertainments, along with sports and leisure activities, as well as institutional areas. and business with presentation, promotion, and commercialization of products and services in the region.

Tuesday was a night dedicated to fado on the main stage, with Catarina Dionísio, Raquel Faria, Mafalda Vasques and Miguel Dias, the winners of the last two editions of the Setúbal Fado Contest.

These young singers had the task of “warming up” the audience for the star of the night, Ana Moura, a fado singer who needs no introduction, and who enchanted the audience who attended the concert, interpreting recent themes but also her best-known themes and of course “Andorinhas” which had the audience singing along with her.
