One of the greatest comedians on the planet will perform in Portugal. After selling out the first night, Russell Howard announces an extra date in Lisbon. The British will be on the 16th and 17th of August (second sold-out performance), at Teatro Villaret, in Lisbon, to show his show which has already sold more than 200,000 tickets worldwide. Born in Bristol, England, Russell Howard is also a phenomenon on social media with more than 9 million followers. On YouTube alone, his videos have been viewed over 450 million times. In his previous show, “Respite”, the comedian sold out the legendary Royal Albert Hall for ten consecutive nights, breaking the record of Barry Manilow and Frank Sinatra, who sold out the space for eight dates.
In 2021, Howard teamed up again with Netflix – 2017’s “Respite” was already a hit on the platform – with the two-part release of a comedy special “Lubricant”. The production became the second most-watched stand-up special that year.
After passing through Portugal, the tour goes to the United States in October, before returning to the United Kingdom, where extra dates have been opened.
