Fernando Daniel presents new album first hand

“V.H.S Vol. 1”, the musician’s new album, hits stores and digital platforms on May 26

Just days away from the release of his long-awaited new album, “V.H.S Vol. 1”, Fernando Daniel anticipates this release with an innovative performance at the Altice Arena Summit, where he presents, firsthand, five new songs from the upcoming album. This daring performance also anticipates the concert and debut in his own name by Fernando Daniel at the Altice Arena, on October 14th.

The performance will be able to be followed live on the artist’s networks – Facebook, Instagram and TikTok – and is scheduled to start at 8:30 pm, next Wednesday, the 24th.

Right after the end of the performance, at 9 pm, Fernando Daniel will make available the audio and video clip of his new single “Casa”.

“Casa” is a song written by Fernando Daniel in partnership with João Direitinho and Guilherme Alface (both members of ÁTOA), which tells us about Fernando Daniel’s desire to return to what will always be his “Casa”: music. A song that Fernando has already described as being “one of the most special songs on my next album. It might be my favorite song…”

“V.H.S Vol. 1″ is the album that marks the long-awaited return to Fernando Daniel’s records, succeeding the very popular “Salto”, from 2018, and “Presente”, from 2020. Both reached #1 in the national sales charts and accumulate so far more than 420 million streams on digital platforms.

“V.H.S Vol. 1” reflects the image and aesthetic concept of strong retro influences that Fernando Daniel has been revealing in recent months.

The singles “Metade” already known from this new album, a ballad with the special collaboration of the young Beatriz Rosário; and “Prometo”, an authentic hymn to fatherhood/motherhood. Both singles amass over 10 million cumulative streams across platforms.

The musician has also been one of the artists with the highest number of concerts per year in Portugal, already totaling around 225 concerts and several sold-out venues, including the Coliseus in Lisbon and Porto.

This year, Fernando Daniel takes the stage at the Altice Arena, in Lisbon, on the 14th of October, and at the Super Bock Arena, in Porto, on the 11th of November. Tickets are already on sale.
