The return of The Voice Portugal in 2023 is marked by the debut of two new mentors in a completely renewed panel, Fernando Daniel and Sara Correia.
The singers make their debut on the adult version of the talent show after having participated as mentors in two versions of the show, Fernando Daniel on The Voice Kids, the children’s version, and Sara Correia on The Voice Gerações, the version that mixes different generations of talents.
Fernando Daniel won three titles in a row on The Voice Kids and arrives at The Voice Portugal with the same determination and enthusiasm that we know him to be. The three young talents that Fernando Daniel guided to victory were Simão Oliveira (2021), Maria Gil (2022), and already in 2023, Júlia Machado.
It should be remembered that the singer recently released his third album of originals, V.H.S Vol. 1, which jumped straight to #1 on the national charts. In 2023, Fernando Daniel takes to the stage of the two major national arenas, on October 14th at the Altice Arena and on November 11th at the Super Bock Arena.
Sara Correia, who recently made her debut as a mentor on The Voice Gerações alongside Anselmo Ralph, Simone de Oliveira, and Mickael Carreira, has shone in surprise performances like this one that promptly went viral on social media, now assumes the role of mentor on The Voice Portugal.
The fadista released “Bocas do Mundo” with the Spanish singer Israel Fernández, at the beginning of the year and is preparing to reveal more new music soon. In May, it sold out the large auditorium of the Centro Cultural de Belém, in Lisbon, and the Casa da Música in Porto.
Fernando Daniel and Sara Correia complete the panel of mentors with António Zambujo and Sónia Tavares. The premiere of The Voice Portugal is scheduled for September.
