Fernando Gomes congratulates the women’s futsal selection

President of the FPF left a special word to the players and coach Luís Conceição.

The president of the Portuguese Football Federation (FPF), Fernando Gomes, congratulated the women’s futsal team, which won the Olympic Youth Games gold medal on Wednesday to beat Japan in the final 4-1.

“A word of special congratulations to our athletes, coach Luis Conceição and all the staff that made this great achievement of national sport possible,” he told the FPF.

“I would like to highlight the talent, dedication, race and fair play of a national team that not only proved that it has a huge future ahead of it, but also emphasized the commitment of athletes, coaches, clubs, as well as in the female aspect of futsal, “he added.
