The Portuguese canoeist was today second in K1 1000 in the European championships being disputed in Poland.
The European title went to the Hungarian Bálint Kopasz in a highly disputed competition, the 31-year-old Portuguese athlete, who has already won the 2016, 2017 and 2018 title, was thousands of times away from winning again.
This is the second silver medal for Portugal after João Ribeiro was second in the K1 500 event.
