Fernando Tordo presents “The Christmas Workers’ Songs”
at Casino Estoril and special guest Rita Redshoes
On the 17th of December, at 10 pm, Fernando Tordo will present “As Canções dos Operários de Natal” in the Salão Preto e Prata at Casino Estoril. Rita Redshoes will be the special guest of a concert full of timeless compositions.
With a 54-year career as an artist and author, Fernando Tordo has built a heritage of songs that are already part of the history of music in Portugal. His work brings together songs that populate the imagination of different generations and mark the country’s own historical path.
In December, the show “The Christmas Workers’ Songs” reviews the album released in 1978. Themes on the album, such as “Os Amigos” or “Os Pais”, are part of a luxury lineup, to which they add other songs that today are unavoidable, such as “Estrela da Tarde” and “Balada Para os Nosso Filhos”.
On stage, Fernando Tordo will have Rita Redshoes as a guest. A unique opportunity to remember the compositions and stories behind each song. Fernando Tordo captivates with his keen sense of humour, before diving into a vast and timeless repertoire.
The Estoril Casino’s Black and Silver Room will host, on the 17th of December, at 22:00, “Fernando Tordo – As Canções dos Operários de Natal”. M/6. Prices: 30€.
