The 11th edition of the Festa do Outonoin Serralves, Porto, returns over the weekend to celebrate the season with several dozen workshops, concerts, theater and free access to the new footbridge, the foundation announced today.
The 11th Festa do Outono kicks off at 10 am on Saturday in Prado with around 20 workshops and activities for all ages, without prior appointment.
In the afternoon, at 2:45 pm, one of the highlights of the organization was for the musical show ‘Ballad of the Twenty Friorent Girls’, in the Barn, with the vocal interpretation of Margarida Mestre, who recites a poem sung “around the universe of the swallows and their eggs “, addressing issues such as generations and migrations, read in the press release given to journalists.
That show repeats on Sunday, the 29th, at 11:15 am and 2:30 pm at the same venue.
Also on Saturday, at 4:30 pm, at Jardim Maria Nordman, musician and composer Jorge Queijo presents a solo musical performance on traditional percussion instruments from the interior of Portugal, such as tambourines, ornaments and materials and objects taken from the nature.
The free, all-season Festa do Outono ends on Sunday at 7 pm with the Gwenifer Raymond music concert, which began playing guitar at age eight after the first contact with punk and grunge, and whose presentation is scheduled for 6:15 pm at the Maria Norman Garden.
