The Fado Festival is back, with an edition dedicated to Maria da Fé. Today and next Saturday, Alfama will be even more filled with Fado, hosting the 13th edition of the Festival that has already won the hearts of the public.
Over two days, there will be more than 40 artists and 50 concerts spread across 12 stages, featuring both established voices and emerging talents who guarantee the future of the genre. This edition pays homage to Maria da Fé, one of the most remarkable voices in national songwriting, and also evokes the memory of her legendary fado house, “O Sr. Vinho.” One of the highlights is the show “Em Casa d’Amália Ao Vivo,” which brings together Maria da Fé, Ana Moura, António Zambujo, Jorge Fernando, José Gonçalez, and José Manuel Neto, in a unique tribute to the fado singer and the tradition of her fado house.

The 2025 edition brings together some of the most acclaimed names in contemporary Fado: Gisela João, Katia Guerreiro, and Marco Rodrigues. Alongside them, artists such as Rão Kyao, Alexandra, Hélder Moutinho and Pedro Moutinho, Lenita Gentil, Pedro Joia & José Manuel Neto, Viviane, Kajó Soares, Diana Vilarinho, Miguel Moura, “E toda ela era Fado” with Ana Sofia Varela, Tânia Oleiro, Ana Margarida Prado, and Matilde Cid reinforce the diversity and richness of the program.

Caixa Alfama invites you to listen to Fado in the heart of Lisbon, in a variety of spaces ranging from the modernity of the Lisbon Cruise Terminal to iconic churches, including the Fado Museum, recreational associations, and historic squares, offering visitors a unique artistic experience.
The program is complete, and show times and a venue map are now available at www.caixaalfama.com.
