From September 5-7, INATEL, in Lisbon, will once again host the largest national event dedicated to complementary therapies and the balance between body, mind, and spirit – the Well-Being Festival. For three days (Friday, from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m., Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m., and Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.), guests will be able to participate in lectures, workshops, classes, shows, massages, aura readings, and other initiatives designed to promote a more conscious and balanced life.

The various booths and activities cover various areas related to well-being and complementary therapies, such as Reiki, Acupuncture, Reflexology, Feng Shui, Sound Therapy, Chromotherapy, Flower Remedies, Quantum Table, Numerology, Crystal Therapy, and many others. Other areas related to natural cosmetics, nutrition, healthy eating, crafts, and esotericism will also be well represented.

The program features four major events, including a Meditation for World Peace, scheduled for the 6th at 5 p.m., which will bring together Religious and Spiritual Leaders from various entities and communities. Despite the diversity of beliefs, the aim is to highlight spirituality as a unifying force in times that demand dialogue, cooperation, and hope. Each guest will have a few minutes to share their reflections on peace, followed by 20 minutes of joint meditation and a live musical performance with Brazilian musicians and composers Sílvia Nazário and Cláudio Kumar.

This event is supported by the UNESCO Chair for Peace in Portugal, dedicated to promoting a positive approach that integrates environmental sustainability, the science of happiness, and the building of a culture of peace. Helena Marujo, researcher and coordinator of the UNESCO Chair in Education for Sustainable Global Peace at the University of Lisbon, will be representing the event.

The following day, at 11:30 am, there will be a Mega Yoga Class, taught by certified instructors from the Portuguese Yoga Federation. It aims to bring together as many participants as possible, reflecting the growing interest in this practice in Portugal, which has attracted not only Portuguese but also foreigners, who travel for retreats and training sessions.

The festival will also welcome Dada Gunamuktananda, an American yogi monk and meditation teacher, who will lead the lecture “Meditation: The Ultimate Experience.” Through this lecture, Dada will share his vision that individual consciousness is connected to the universal, exploring how this awareness can lead to greater inner peace, love, and personal fulfilment.

The fourth main event will be based on two activities from the Kin Experiences project, led by Pablo Robles and Anne de Bragança. At the Wellness Festival, they will lead a Rebirthing Session (Vibra Renascimento), focusing on conscious breathing (€22 per person), and a free concert.

This year, the festival will also feature a Grand Laughter Yoga Session, led by Márcio Fidalgo, whose mission is to contribute to a more joyful, loving, and peaceful world through the power of laughter. The program involves laughing, breathing deeply, and releasing stress, awakening inner happiness.

Also noteworthy are the lectures and practices dedicated to Family Constellations, a therapeutic approach that allows us to examine hidden patterns and unconscious dynamics present in the family system and which may be the root of challenges, blockages, or trauma. The sessions will be led by renowned facilitators such as Paula Matos, Maria Gorjão Henriques, Paula Ponce, Susana Oliveira, and Hellen Fonseca, providing a unique opportunity to learn and experience this powerful tool for self-discovery.

The new edition of the Well-Being Festival aims to be a space for sharing, discovery, and inner transformation, designed for all who seek to live healthier, more consciously, and in harmony with their surroundings. “We want everyone who visits the festival to find something that helps them feel more connected to themselves and others. It’s an invitation to stop, take a deep breath, and remember what matters,” says Jorge Coelho Lopes, head of the festival’s organisation.

Tickets can be purchased on the Ticketline website. More information about the program can be found here.
