The Crato Festival is preparing to celebrate, from the 22nd to the 26th of August, its 37th edition as a Handicraft and Gastronomy Fair.
The emblematic event in the historic village of Alentejo is once again a mandatory stop on the family and festival-goers’ itinerary, betting on an eclectic musical program with some of the best national and international artists. Aimed at all generations, the Crato Festival has become one of the biggest events held in the Alentejo and one of the most cherished festivals by the Portuguese public.
There will be five days of great animation in which the public will be able to enjoy the shows on the main stage of the already very popular Handicraft and Gastronomy Fair with free admission, an occasional camping area and the After-Hours stage with DJs, among many other activities scheduled .
The poster for this edition features concerts by Editors, Two Door Cinema Club, Nininho Vaz Maia, Ana Moura (special guest: Paulo Flores), Rui Veloso, Wet Bed Gang, Plutonio, Diogo Piçarra (special guest: Bárbara Tinoco), Os Quatro and Meia (special guests: Bandidos do Cante), Linda Martini, Pedro Mafama, Julinho KSD and much more.
There is also room for an extra day with TONY CARREIRA as guest artists. Entitled FESTA SOLIDÁRIA, it takes place on the 21st of August, from 10 pm, with the aim of raising funds in favor of humanitarian and solidarity associations in the Municipality of Crato.
