Festival F features 9 stages and more than 50 artists
After completing the musical lineup, Festival F now announces the themes and guests of the 2022 edition, which runs from 1 to 3 September. This year’s proposal contemplates the attentive look at the internet – “How much is a meme worth?”; football – “Can we be super fans without becoming fanatics?”; and mental health – “What have the last 3 years done to our minds?”, taking the debate daily to the Claustros da Sé, in Vila Adentro, in Faro. Day tickets and general passes are still on sale at the usual places.

It is recalled that in its seventh edition, Festival F presents a musical lineup with more than 50 artists, including established names and the newest ones that mark the present day of Portuguese music, thus reinforcing its role as a festival that gathers audiences of various genres and ages. With the venue’s doors opening daily at 18:00 and the party going on until 05:00, there are 9 stages that this year host the main program.
With regard to the parallel programming and in addition to the gatherings, in 2022 Festival F will present contemporary art exhibitions at Fábrica da Cerveja and at Galeria Arco, in addition to the permanent ones that can be found at the Museum and at the Trem Gallery, and will once again focus on Stand Up Comedy with Hugo Sousa, João Pinto, Inês Coimbra and Youre Cabral on the 1st; Alexandre Santos, Duarte Pita Negrão, Dagu and André Pinheiro on the 2nd; and Dário Guerreiro, Juan Pereira, Madalena Malveiro and Ricardo Maria on 3 September.
Positioning itself as an event for the whole family, Festival F encourages the presence of the youngest, either through free admission up to 12 years of age or through the Fagar Kids F space, which has recreational-pedagogical activities. with the theme of environmental sustainability between 20:00 and 00:00, for children between 6 and 10 years old.
It should also be noted that, in partnership with Santa Casa, this year Festival F is more accessible to people with reduced mobility, with platforms on the Ria and Sé Stages, an access ramp to the space where the gatherings take place, and bathrooms. adapted.
