Theme of the 2025 edition: “The Voice and the Polyphony”
On 6, 7 and 8 June, Ferreira do Alentejo will host, another edition of the Giacometti Festival, an event created by the Municipality of Ferreira do Alentejo in 2018.
In 2025, the curatorship will be in charge of José Barros, an undisputed reference to the revitalization of traditional Portuguese music and its adaptation to contemporary taste, also with the general direction of Maria João Pina, head of the Culture Division of the Municipality of Ferreira do Alentejo.
We challenge you to participate in this “cultural refund” that will take place in Ferreira and Peroguarda between June 6 and 8 where, in addition to discovering the cultural secrets of Ferreira do Alentejo, you can also enjoy, on the ground or in the family, unforgettable cultural moments, where you will participate, in addition to relevant national and international artists, prestigious personalities of culture and national and international ethnomusicology.
