Oeiras stands out for its commitment to Culture and innovation. A county known for its history and beauty, two aspects very well represented in the place of the city where the new Festival Jardins do Marquês – Oeiras Valley will be held, which proposes to be more than a music festival – a sophisticated experience, designed to wake up the senses, in a setting in contact with nature.
After the forced postponement of its first edition due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Festival Jardins do Marquês – Oeiras Valley will take place this year. Restrictions on international circulation – which force many artists to postpone their tours – mean that holding an event of this magnitude remains a demanding challenge. But the current challenges do not prevent the realization of this first edition – by artists and professionals, by sponsors and partners, and by all those who yearn to live moments of joy, sharing, and love for music.
There will be diversified proposals, always in tune with the atmosphere experienced at the Festival. Seu Jorge & Daniel Jobim Sing Tom Jobim, Rua das Pretas, Maria João Pires, Júlio Resende, Rufus Wainwright, Vicente Palma, António Zambujo, Tainá, Bonga, Mayra Andrade, Camané & Mário Laginha, Jorge Palma, Rui Veloso e Tito Paris são the strong names that we will be able to hear on the nights of 2, 4, 6, 8, 9, 10 and 11 July.
Thus, always strictly complying with all public health rules determined by the General Directorate of Health, the new Jardins do Marquês – Oeiras Valley presents seven unforgettable and intimate nights, with a careful and high quality poster, which privileges national music, but which also has space for international artists who embody the spirit of the event.
