Calema, Plutonio, Fernando Daniel, Ivandro, Julinho KSD, Nininho Vaz Maia, T-Rex, T-Rex, Quem é o Bob?, Rafaell Dior, and the DJs Wilson Honrado and Nuno Luz are present at the Festival.
The Mar Me Quer Festival is back in Portimão on the 10th, 11th, and 12th of August, with a lineup full of unmissable artists: Calema, Plutonio, Fernando Daniel, Ivandro, Julinho KSD, Nininho Vaz Maia, T-Rex, T- Rex, Quem é o Bob?, Rafaell Dior and the DJs Wilson Honrado and Nuno Luz will be present in the riverside area.
The Festival was born from the desire to create, in the Algarve, an event for all people who vibrate with concerts but who are also concerned with environmental causes and the sustainability of the planet. Thus began Mar Me Quer, the eco-conscious festival that aims to amplify the power and impact of culture in the region.
The first day opens with a sunset hosted by the well-known DJ Wilson Honrado, who is present at the Festival for the second time. This night will be full of great hits with the band Calema, originally from São Tomé and Príncipe, which has added dozens of hits throughout its career. Ivandro, the most heard Portuguese artist on Spotify Portugal, will also take to the stage on August 10th, right after Quem é o Bob?, originally a tribute to Bob Marley, which has extended to other sounds rooted in reggae and ska.
Plutónio, a great reference in Portuguese rap, is one of the big names performing on the second day, which will also feature rapper Julinho KSD – who already has seven platinum singles, from T-Rex with his unique sound that mixes rap, R&B, and trap, and even the Luso-British Rafaell Dior.
The third and final day of the Festival opens again with a sunset, this time with DJ Nuno Luz, followed by Nininho Vaz Maia, who takes his influences from pop and flamenco, in a unique style in which he stands out. The closing honors go to Fernando Daniel, one of the most relevant artists on the national pop scene, who promises to end these three days on a high note.
Festival Mar Me Quer joined the Sê-lo Verde Program, which aims to create a more sustainable environment for events, encouraging ecological practices and reducing environmental impact. All the decor will be created by plastic artists, some using recycled materials and others who, through their art, amplify the need to act in the face of the climate emergency we are experiencing. Reusable cups purchased last year can be used this year, thus further reducing the ecological footprint.
Tickets can be purchased at MEO Blueticket and vary between €15 (day tickets) and €35 (three-day pass). There is also a two-day pass option, which costs €25. The three-day pass is already sold out.
The Mar Me Quer Festival has the support of the Municipality of Portimão, Continente, Visit Algarve, Licor Beirão, and Sagres.
