What does your saudades taste like?
This is the motto for this edition of the Pé na Terra Festival 2022 in partnership with the Municipality of Olhão and with the support of the Union of Parishes of Moncarapacho and Fuseta. The Pé na Terra Festival is back from the 17th to the 19th of June to Vila Piscatória da Fuzeta for a much-desired reunion. After two years of absence, let’s finally embrace the nostalgia for what we don’t live. In this edition we celebrate 10 years, 10 years of a unique and inclusive festival that refers to the connection between man and the earth in the (re)discovery of its popular culture, creating a cultural exchange and promoting cultural exchange scenarios through sport, training traditional dances and music.
Pé na Terra encourages experimentation with languages and creative processes in the fields of music and dance, which aims to broaden the public’s perception of the diversity between the various cultures present. One of the main activities that we highlight is the dance workshops that range from Samba, Maracatu, Capoeira and Kizomba, among others.
In evidence at Pé na Terra are also activities for families, Pézinhos na Terra, is a program dedicated to families with children.
In recent years, it is our goal to have a program specially designed for the children who participate in our festival, so we also have a nursery (with qualified monitors) available for festival-goers. These are children who, from an early age, enrich each edition of Pé na Terra. For this 10th edition, we will continue and all families are welcome.
