Concerts, acrobatic air circus and an exhibition of plastic arts will mark the 29th Festival Sete Sóis Sete Luas in the Alentejo village of Odemira, in the district of Beja, between Thursday and the 20th of this month.
The festival will start in the Zona Ribeirinha with two sessions of a humorous acrobatic air circus show by the French company Les P’tits Brás, the first on Thursday and the second on Friday, always starting at 21:30.
This is followed by two concerts by the Med Arab 7Sóis Ensemble, the festival’s original production, the first on Saturday, at Cerro do Peguinho, at 9:30 pm, and the second on Sunday, at 11:00 am, at Cineteatro Camacho Costa. Sunday’s concert, in its national debut, will be solidary, inclusive for culture and aimed at users of APCO – Cerebral Palsy Association of Odemira.
On Sunday, from 9:30 pm, Cerro do Peguinho will be the stage for the concert of the festival’s new original production, the Maio 7Luas Band. On the last day of the festival, on the 20th, the plastic arts exhibition “Saramago Mediterráneo” will open at 18:00 at Espaço CRIAR.
The program of the initiative also includes three offers of the passage of the 17th Festival Terras Sem Sombra in the municipality. It is a guided visit to Forte de São Clemente, in Vila Nova de Milfontes, and a classical music concert by the Belgians Terra Nova Collective, on the 18th, and a biodiversity action at Portinho do Canal, on the 19th. .
In the area of cinema, the films “Bem Bom” will be screened on the 24th, and “D’Artacão e os 3 Moscãoteiros”, on the 25th, at the Cineteatro Camacho Costa.
