Festival Soam as Guitarras 2021 announced rescheduling and new Artists

The fifth edition will feature concerts in Oeiras, Évora, Póvoa de Varzim and Setúbal, between May and September.

Some of the concerts that were originally scheduled for 2020 and were postponed to this month, now undergo a new rescheduling, taking into account that the concert halls will only reopen on April 19, according to the deconfinition plan.

These are the cases of concerts in Póvoa de Varzim, the performance of the Miramar duo went from April 15th to June 17th, the concert by guitarist Manuel de Oliveira was rescheduled from April 16th to June 18th, and that of Mafalda Veiga April 17th to June 19th.

The show “Os fadinhos do Godinho”, which the musician Sérgio Godinho created for Soam as Guitars and that was supposed to happen this Thursday, in Póvoa de Varzim, was postponed until June 20th.

In terms of rescheduling, the Dead Combo concert on April 21, in Setúbal, already sold out, was split into two dates, September 29 and 30.

The organization also announced new entries in this year’s Soam as Guitarras poster.

In Setúbal, João Pedro Pais performs at the Luísa Todi Forum on May 5th, the following day the singer Nancy Vieira will perform and, on the 7th, guitarist João Morais, who signs as O Gajo, will debut the album “Subterrínios”.
