In the 19th edition, the festival will resume the presentation of works that intersect the performing and audiovisual arts, covering the theater, dance, installation and performance, in the first moment, between May 12th and June 6th.
From the schedule announced for the so-called Momento I, the works “Ghost”, by Luís Marrafa, will be presented in the small auditorium of the Centro Cultural de Belém; “Mappa Mundi”, by Joana de Verona and Eduardo Breda, at the Appleton Gallery; “Andrómeda”, by Luciana Fina, at the Carpentarias de São Lázaro; and “Perfect Match”, by the theater company Hotel Europa, at the Lisbon Arts Center/First Symptoms.
This same Temps d’Images partner will also receive “YOLO”, by Sara Inês Gigante, while the works “Survival Kit in Male Territory”, by Marion Thomas, and “Sprites of Meadowlands“, by Mateja Rot, are presented at Jardim of Príncipe Real.
Moment II of this edition of the multidisciplinary festival will take place between October 22nd and November 7th, with a program to be announced in due course.
Due to the constraints to contain the pandemic, since 2020, concert halls, museums and art galleries have been closed for long periods and artists have been prevented from presenting their works live, and several festivals have been canceled and forced to make reschedules.
