Festival Três a Solo on October 16 and 17 with noiserv, S. Pedro, MOMO, Clara Buser, Dada Garbeck and Pedro Viana, at the Cine-Teatro Garrett, Póvoa de Varzim
Três a Solo is a festival of solo musicians that takes place annually at the Cine-Teatro Garrett, in Póvoa de Varzim, and the 5th edition presents S. Pedro, Clara Buser and Dada Garbeck, on the 16th of October, and Noiserv, MOMO and Pedro Viana, on October 17, at a festival where names like Tó Trips, Lula Pena, Peixe, Emmy Curl, Luca Argel and Norberto Lobo have already passed.
Betting on a concept that favors complicity between musicians and spectators, each year a stage design is designed by Isabel Batista so that the intimate and cozy atmosphere of a house is rebuilt.
Concerts are from 30 to 45 minutes in which the artists and the audience communicate constantly, in an environment of proximity and as familiar as possible. Três a Solo is made by people from Póvoa de Varzim who aim to boost and contribute to the diversity of artistic and cultural offerings in the region.
The first edition of the Três A Solo Festival was in 2016, with only one night, with the participation of Peixe, Homem em Catarse e Turquoise (currently André Júlio Turquesa). Until 2018, there was a single-day festival and three musicians per night. In 2019, the ratio of 3 musicians per night remained, but the festival won another day. Thus, making 6 musicians per edition.
And it is along these lines that the 5th edition, scheduled for the 16th and 17th of October, arrives. The daily tickets cost €10 and the two-day pass costs €15. The concerts start at 9:30 pm at the Cine-Teatro Garrett, but the doors open at 9:00 pm to facilitate the public’s entry with the necessary precautions.
