Festival ‘Vai à Janela’ | April 2nd/3rd with live music
At this moment when the country retired at home, a group of students from the World Academy [WA] got together digitally, to create a multifaceted and dynamic event in which several Portuguese artists participate.
The Vai à Janela Festival takes place on the 2nd and 3rd of April 2020 at the windows of the Lisbon neighborhoods of Santos, Graça, Santo António, Alvalade and also of Cova da Piedade. Music, Theater and Poetry are the arts that will be highlighted in the windows.
For all those who do not live on the streets where the shows will take place, these performances will be broadcast live via Instagram on the artists’ own accounts.
This initiative is part of the extra-curricular challenge called #WAEMCASA, launched by the World Academy, a professional training school in the field of creativity, communication, and events, which, for security reasons, interrupted the face-to-face classes since the past 16th March.
The challenge has the purpose of making students apply, during the quarantine, the knowledge and skills developed so far, joining in groups and, without stopping, create content, gain experience, share results and generate a portfolio.
