Vaudeville Rendez-Vous Festival has already started and runs until the 24th of July

The International Festival Vaudeville Rendez-Vous, 2021 edition, started on the 21st, in Barcelos, with creation workshops, in Parque da Cidade, and the program includes a series of shows to watch until July 24th in the cities of the Quadrilátero Urban (Barcelos, Braga, Famalicão and Guimarães).

On the 23rd, at 6 pm, at Praça dos Poetas, the festival continues with “Espera“, a show of acrobatics, where the acrobats become artisans of the movement, and lost landscapes appear, full of human gestures and sincere encounters. And, at 9 pm, Praceta Francisco Sá Carneiro receives “BAÏNA][NA]“, a national premiere of the collective G. Bistaki. Dressed in white suits and armed with snow and corn shovels as food for thoughts, these four men invite us to cross the place like ivy, on a surprising choreographic and musical journey.

On the last day, on the 24th of July, the Festival presents Barcelos with three shows: “Là-bas“, by Étienne Tribu, winner of the Vaudeville Rendez-Vous creative grant, at 11:00 am, in the Praça dos Poetas; “Rizoma“, by Rita Carmo Martins, at 6 pm, at the same location; and to end, at 9 pm, at Praceta Francisco Sá Carneiro, the performance “Random” brought by the duo Joel Marti and Pablo Molin, a national premiere, which presents characteristics such as balance, contortion, tightrope, dance, theater and disturbing dialogues for a Hardly believable story, narrated by this duo ready for anything.
