The current FIAT Panda has undergone several updates over the years and despite its long service record, the historic model of FIAT continues to have exemplary commercial performance in the European market, occupying a prominent position with its half-brother 500.
Still, the first rumors are emerging that its replacement may arrive as early as 2022 and that it will adopt a design largely inspired by that of the Centoventi concept. You should also share the platform with the Novo 500, as well as its electric motor.
If confirmed, the new Panda could even assume itself as the first model of the Italian brand to be presented by the new Stellantis. Panda should continue to position itself in the range slightly below 500.
But the new Panda will be a radical cut with previous models. Apparently, there is a possibility that the Centoventi concept will replace not only the Panda but also the Punto. In other words, with a car the Italian brand wants to replace two models and this will force Panda to change, grow and, probably, lose the characteristics of compact city that it always had.
