“Um fio de baba escarlate” was considered the best European feature film in the international competition.
The film has the interpretations of Matthieu Charneau, Joana Ribeiro, João Arrais, Leonor Silveira and Teresa Madruga, and tells the story of a peaceful serial killer who is suddenly transformed into a social media star after an incident.
Carlos Conceição is also the author of the feature “Serpentário” and several short films, including “Versailles”, “Boa noite Cinderela” and “Coelho Mau”.
This year, Carlos Conceição’s cinema was already in retrospect at the international festival Sicily Queer, in Italy.
